My Testimony By Seventy Bob Moore
As a witness of the Restoration of the Covenant that our Lord made with Joseph Smith, that “In thee, and in thy seed, shall the kindred of the earth be blessed” (D&C 107:18c), I testify that the time for the redemption of Zion is almost here. Latter-day revelation records that God “accepted the offerings of those whom I commanded to build up a city and a house unto my name, in Jackson County, Missouri”, leaving the work until the end of “the third and fourth generation” (D&C 107:15c-d). The Covenants also record that “in consequence of the transgression of my people, it is expedient in me that mine elders should wait for a little season for the redemption of Zion, that they themselves may be prepared” (D&C 102:3c).
The people in every portion and fragment of the original restored church, millions of latter-day saints, are still not prepared. The scripture describes us in this way: “All tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean” (Is 28:8). In his infinite love and mercy, God has given this revelation, inviting us to quickly prepare for the imminent endowment in which “righteousness will I send down out of heaven; and truth will I send forth out of the earth” (D&C 36:12e). All the powers of heaven, “visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities” (Col 1:16) will work together to bring forth Zion “out of all the creations which I have made” (D&C 36:13b). Few, if any, are able to use this heavenly equipment, for all portions of the church rely on the equipment of the world.
The promised endowment cannot come without the seed of Joseph Smith at this endowment’s head; for God will not, He cannot, speak to the entire church except through him whom “shall come in at the gate and be ordained as I have told you before, to teach those revelations which you have received, and shall receive through him whom I have appointed” (D&C 43:2c). Wallace Smith, who was both appointed and anointed to the presidency, is of the fourth generation and near the end of his life. Is not this evidence that the time is nearly come? Who will humbly receive the coming revelations in belief and faith, without contention and division and also fully participate in the coming endowment unless they repent as requested in this revelation; for by the revelations from the Lord’s anointed all the prophets, including the latter-day prophets, will be vindicated, righteousness descend from heaven, the sealed portion come forth and Zion be redeemed.
The time to repent is come. May we do so quickly.
